Iguide
Iguide, the new mobile application of Heydar Aliyev Center is designed applying
the modern high technologies based on the experience of world-renowned
museums and exhibitions. Using the Iguide mobile application the guests visiting
the museum and exhibitions of the Center, are able to get written, audio and video
information about the exhibits through their mobile devices, as well as they can
make excursions in museum and exhibitions individually by using electronic
guide.
Entering the Iguide mobile application initially is selected the language and for the
initial part the information is presented on audio and written version in three
languages in Azerbaijani, Russian and English. Depending on the language
selection, the information will be in the selected language in the next steps ( ).
The technical base of İguide application is not only set up for Heydar Aliyev
Center but also it can be available for use in the future by other museums and
exhibitions.
Currently, in the information base of application is existed only Heydar Aliyev
Center.
The colours used in the application are based on the colours of the National Flag of
Azerbaijan.
In the preparing of the mobile application is applied an easy and multifunctional
interface considering the age category and the convenience of users and are
installed three main sections. These include Exhibitions, the Favored (chosen) and
Short Tour.
- In the section of Exhibitions are presented (installed) Heydar Aliyev Center, Zaha
Hadid, the awards of the Heydar Aliyev Center, the museum that reflects the life
and activities of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, “The Treasures of
Azerbaijan”, “Mini Azerbaijan”, “Art doll”, “Classic car exhibition”.
-In the section of The Favored, different exhibits from 5 permanent exhibitions of
the center are chosen and displayed automatically within the appropriate range on
the basis of the system. Using the same section the guests visiting the Heydar
Aliyev Center can get detailed information about the selected exhibits; in case they
can’t get acquainted with all exhibitions.
-The main aim of creating a Short Tour section is organizing brief excursions for
the guests visiting the Heydar Aliyev Center without any guide. As mentioned,
there are installed audio files in the short tour format about each 5 permanent
exhibitions.
To provide the convenience of the users, several additional features have been
added to the mobile application. These include QR code recognition placed on the
upper right side, visual orientation and augmented reality and wish list in the
settings section of the upper left side of the mobile application.
Specially coded QR codes have been placed in exhibits of permanent exhibitions in
the center. In the upper right side of the mobile application, when you push the QR
code button, you will see the Play audio window. Using this function, it is possible
to get written and voice information about the appropriate exhibits.
By using modern visualization function, visitors will point out
where they are and visually they will be able to easily and
accurately visit their exhibits.
